Next year, I'll hopefully be going on this program..

I'll basically get placed in a family somewhere in the world for a year, going to school and living there.
The question is.. Should I go to the U.S, or Japan?

I kinda want to go to Japan, but I the school system there seems very strict, and not really somthing for me..

U.S for sure. You speak English, (To my knowledge. Unless I secretly speak Norwegian and/or have babblefish) you has the mentioned #yoloswag/Norwegianess that the US needs, and most importantly, I wouldn't need to fly/swim to visit you.
