Kerbal Space Program
Re: Kerbal Space Program
I really need to go to minimus... Right now I am learning about Space Station Docking. So difficult :/
Re: Kerbal Space Program
uh Docking seems easy.. with mechjeb but uh getting close enough to dock the station is the hard part for me it seems impossible
And yet getting the orbit close enough for docking IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME I TRIED EVERYTHING instead wasted fuel to oblivian

Haven't tried docking yet.. It looks hard.Markusmoo wrote:I really need to go to minimus... Right now I am learning about Space Station Docking. So difficult :/

here is a good mod on a tutorial of rendezvous

I've been messing around with it and if got the hang of it now.

Re: Kerbal Space Program
Isn't 3 nuclear engines inefficient compared to a basic engine?
Re: Kerbal Space Program
its more than efficient with just one
You dont need much power to move a lot in space
or in speed too
Also tho I still dont get it ug its super hard to get it in rendezvous
ug I fail at kerbal space program
im just good at launching things into space here is some pictures of glory in space btw! lol
This post reminded me to post it
I had more I Think but I have to find it in my computer ug

Re: Kerbal Space Program
The nuclear engines have a higher ISP in space compared to other engines and as sniper said you don't need a lot to push stuff in space. Those are one of the first things I've docked but I don't plan on flying them so I just left them.Markusmoo wrote:Isn't 3 nuclear engines inefficient compared to a basic engine?
I'm probably going to end that flight and make a new at around 80,000M instead of 500Km.
Re: Kerbal Space Program
I would suggest that you don't use those orange fuel tanks, use the half sized rockomax fuel tanks. That will stop you mainsails from overheating as easily.sniper101 wrote:its more than efficient with just one

Re: Kerbal Space Program
Why cant you just lower your orbit with those engines shut some of them off?Coiner10 wrote: I'm probably going to end that flight and make a new at around 80,000M instead of 500Km.
I cant even get a space station.....
and those orange fuel tanks are my source of winning.......
I use the asparagus method mostly! so it is very efficient and then the middle engine is "skipper"
So it easily goes into orbit and has enough fuel fo the moon! and also possibly for minimus.
