I have a flippin' teacher at my school who has this habit of inhibiting my ability to do work...
And then tries to figure out why I'm failing
I do all my homework and schoolwork on my laptop and there's only this ONE teacher that is a jerk about it
The other day she subbed for my Biology teacher and I opened up my laptop to do the assignment he gave us to do while he was gone
As I opened the lid and opened Word, I hear from across the room: "Hey. What are you doing?"
Me: "Doing my work?"
Her: "Put your laptop away"
Me: "But I do all my work on m-"
Her: "Nope"
Me: "But Mr. Lenz let's me d-"
Her: "Nuh uh. Put it away."
Other student: "Why can't he? Mr. Lenz said it w-"
Her: "Nope. He needs to put it away."
So I put it away, and took an F on the assignment
Just today the same situation happened
I was going to plug in my laptop to charge it while I worked
And even though every single other teacher I know lets me plug it in, even the principal of the school
The same teacher told me I can't because it's against school policy
"The school is not responsible for giving your electronics charge. You should have charged it at home"
Uh, I did. But using it for 2 whole periods in a row kind of killed the battery.
And if it's so against school policy, why doesn't the principal care?
For flip's sake she lets us register our computers onto the Wi-Fi network! Why wouldn't she allow us to charge them?!
Ugh
This teacher has it out for me
I swear

In my eyes, you have two choices:
A. Go to the principal and tell him/her. Bring a fellow student in your class to have some sort of "witness".
B. You can go full YOLO, continue to use the laptop until your teacher actually does something (remark, take away your laptop etc.) and then go to your principal.

I lost it right there and burst out laughing in the middle of classAlex wrote:You can go full YOLO
Luckily the teacher wasn't in the room but I'm getting a lot of weird looks from students.

I'd never use a laptop to do work, its weird, nobody at my school ever uses a laptop to do their work here.

It's 100x easier and faster for me to type than to write.Markusmoo wrote:I'd never use a laptop to do work, its weird, nobody at my school ever uses a laptop to do their work here.
Plus I also have a tablet so that I can draw anything (if need be)
And it's easier to edit text if you mess up
Like if you realize you're running out of room you have to erase everything and restart?
Just resize your text
It's just...yeah. As I said...100x easier
Plus I can also slack off when I get done, pretend I'm still working...but really I'm playing games. xD
