i would recommend attack on titans but you probably have watched it and another good idea is find a dub/sub site and randomly scroll till you see a name that interests you or do it blindly

English voice actors swap and it goes bad fast i really cant stand bad French accents

Watch it with japanese + subs, much better. I started watching the series before they actually dubbed it into english, so it's good for me, but maybe you're not too used to it. (No hipsterism intended.)

My anime shows are WitchBlade and Black Cat right now finished the two Black Butler seasons and love Claymore even if they need to make a second season. Bleach wasnt to bad, and my manga is Fruit Basket!

地獄少女 - Hell Girl .. [also very sad q_q]
デスノート - Death Note .. [very well made, kinda sad...]
東京マグニチュード8.0 - Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 .. [very, very sad q_q]
クラナド - Clannad / Clannad ~After Story~ .. [stahp it with the sad stuff already q_q]
Sonic X [kinda sad ending q_q] or Sonic Underground .... because Sonic is the best.. although Sonic Underground isn't really anime because it's American.. but Sonic X is Japanese >:D
