This urks me in games where there's "survivors"
And it tells you how many people survived or whatever?
ANd it's like..."5 people survived"
Kay
That's good
And then if only 1 *person* does, it says ONE PEOPLE SURVIVED
ONE
FRIGGIN'
PEOPLE
This seriously bugs the crap out of me, being the Grammar Nazi I am (HEIL!)
And I've seen it a lot in games.
Like, crap, coders. Learn your stuff. :/ Make the game read when there's one PERSON left, and make it say one PERSON.
Next time I see "One people survived", or anything of that nature, I'm throwing a bus at an old lady. >:/

Re: "One people survived"
Yeah They code it to day like 10 or 20 people have survived.
They can't really Code it when 1 shows up.
I guess Game devolpers need to figure out HOW TO CODE 1!

They're lazy, or they just don't have time to add that function. Most likely the first one.

Re: "One people survived"
I'm pretty sure it's "One people survived" even if it sounds wrong.

Re: "One people survived"
Code: Select all
if nSurvivors == 1
cout << "1 person survived." << endl;
else
cout << nSurvivors << " people survived." << endl;
Code: Select all
