Have we reached our technological limits?

If you could think of our computers in 2020, what would they look like? What amount of processing power would they have? For me, that's difficult to think about, it's unbelievable that a processor in the future would have 18-20 cores each running at 7-8GHz each. 128GB RAM, we do have that today, but it's unnecessary, and do we need that in the future for our programs/games? Is our laptops getting any thinner or batteries and displays any better? Those are some of the question I might ask myself.
Think about any person in the 1990's that were familliar with the technology back then. Would they believe that we would end up with processors like the i7 running 4.3GHz on 4 cores? The GeForce GTX690/Titan and our incredible graphics, operative systems, vast connectivity across the globe wirelessly? (Yes, the internet came back in the 90's, but not nearly as it is right now). 16, 32 or even 64GB of RAM? That was most of their hard-drive space back then.
Would they even dream about laptops as thin as just an inch capable of doing advanced tasks and displaying the graphics that we have today?
What do you think technology will be in 2020? I think there might be a tablet with the same processing power as our i5 series today in a size of an iPad Mini. For the desktops and laptops (if they're still made), I really don't know. Maybe we have reached our limits, or we're near to reach it. We would probably think back at the year 2013 where we had our weak laptops and bad graphics. Ok, graphics are close to realistic now if you look at i.e CryEngine 3, so we won't be saying that.
