This problem started just today when I got on my computer, I don't know if it's my internet or what, I launched Garry's Mod and I noticed an absence of servers on the server list. Of these unreachable servers one is FADW I really want to play on FADW but there is no work around this problem. If I wait 10 minutes I can finally reach FADW but I'm impatient. I've tried to join ARURUS through steam but it says Server is not responding. I've tried to find servers through steam but I can find just about every other server but FADW. Please help

Disable your firewall and try it again.

You can also try opening ports on your router, and see if that helps. Disable your firewall and antivirus firewall first, then see if that helps.

After I re-installed windows 7 my antivirus likes to try to update itself and fail and it requires a machine restart to start working.

Once I get onto the server my ping is really high for a while and it goes down after a map or so

Are you connected over wireless? You could be downloading a bunch of updates and it might be eating up all your internet connection.

Yeah I'm connected over wireless but I have a perfect signal, and my antivirus seems to have patched itself without failing this time.

Update: It stopped... for now
