One-Hit Kill Weapon for the Detective.

I've seen this on a few other servers, "The Golden Deagle" I believe it was called. It holds one bullet and kills in one hit regardless of which hitbox is shot. It's used by the detective. What do you guys think about that?

Basically a ranged knife for detectives? Hmmm, might be something fun to code myself (that may happen if I stop being lazy).
Let's see what the others think about it.

I actually played with one of those, though it was called a dragon deagle, and I never got the textures working on it. It also killed the detective (or innocent/traitor(? Never got it as t)) if the person they killed was inno.

But yeah, we need more tools for detective.

I like this idea of a Detective weapon. It seems cool.

However, a One hit ranged weapon.

Even if it's just a shot or two, just no.

The AWP is overpowered enough, if and Innocent can get a hold of that, they win.

I'd like it a lot more if Alex could maybe add a script for the gun to do this

-Has only one clip (Clip is 6 shots)
-Detective can use it ONLY (Simply, you can't drop it like the jihad)
-Does 75 damage per shot (Reasonable)

If this isn't the best, we can do this

-Has only one clip (Clip is 3 shots)
-Detective only
-Has the "Incendiary effect" like the flare gun, but with a twist.
-Does only 5 damage to players, but inflicts the burn effect for 15 seconds (Something that'll bring them down to at least 20-40 healths)
-Effect does not stack
-When used on a body, it instantly gets DNA from the body (Long ranged DNA scanner)
-Really fun to use

Lemme know what you think, idk if its good at all or too OP. Thanks

That second one sounds incredible. I've made the appropriate change to the poll.

Im curious what is Share's second Idea?
or did I not read the post above?
EDIT: Also I seen Golden Deagle just tells detective if that person U shot is a T or inno! different server does that If I can recall

I like the idea of a 1-hit kill weapon for the detective, but not in the from of a handgun. I think having something like a crossbow or hunting rifle would be more balanced (both of those fire slower and don't make close range guns like smg's useless against them). I also find the small extra challenge of hitting someone with something that has a comparatively slower air-time (like newtons or a crossbow bolt) to be more satisfying.

I think the P90 and UMP are enough, personally. In fact, I think if we added another superior weapon for the Detectives they'd become overpowered. UMPs alone make them difficult to kill and I think it would be too much for them to have a one-hit kill weapon as well.
