There was already a heated discussion on this in the Steam Forums. Not to mention it was removed from the Steam Store. Oh, and they lied about a lot more things then you mention. A LOT more.

Wait, is that making people pay for the game AND extra in-game "gold credits". This is such a fail in many ways.
