Like corrupted said, he might not be able to make on time if at all if we choose the 24th. If you decide to do the 24th and he can't make it I can just do solo/different team.

NOTE: You DO NOT have to downgrade. The bukkit plugin, which is the Bukkit plugin Markus will need for the mod for multiplayer is for 1.5.2 Bukkit, meaning you will need to be on 1.5.2, so you can keep your client as it is now.

edit: that also means you dont need the mod installed on your client(it isnt possible anyways with 1.5.2) All you need to do is join the server, everything is automatic.

Well it ruins the game, I have been watching the UHC series for a long time and they made this rule. Basically people will just sit in a strip mine all day until they get a full suit of diamond armor. It makes the game more challenging in many ways, for example; If you strip mine, you will almost NEVER encounter a mob and so that means, no challenge there. I highly suggest everyone go watch at least a couple UHC videos, they are very entertaining and fun to watch.

What other effective way to mine is there? what about a 2x2 hole, but not branching? Still cheating?

Ok see that's different. In UHC we will be allowed to do that because, Technically you are "searching for a cave" (usually if it is night) but as a honor system, if someone finds ore that way we usually just don't take it. I won't consider it cheating if you do, but I'm not going to take it. Now lets say you are caving and you hear water in another cave. You CAN go "branch mine" towards it, as well as take any ore when you look for it. Please don't abuse this rule however.

Are you sure about this??? I don't think so as the mod, Modifies the Recipe.class file changing the golden apple recipe as well as some other recipes.

Ahh right, I was looking at the non-bukkit mod version, in the newest UHC I'm pretty sure they downgraded, but I guess I'm wrong We are looking at the same Mod right???

I put it on my server earlier. Everything works. Also, if you hit the "download" button, you'll see in the top rightish "CB 1.5.2-R0.1"
So no client mods installed.

Aslo, I would add an "allowed mods" list. Just going on the honor system. In my opinion the only mods that should be allowed:
Optifine
NotEnoughItems (for recipies, they cant spawn stuff unless op, and it broadcasts if you do)
ArmorStatusHUD
StatusEffectHUD

If you want to remove/add thats fine, it is your thing afterall lol. Also, get on skype/steam. I have something for you.
