I agree with Kyuenmaru on this one. There is enough diversity in our race that it isn't hard to find atleast a few people who have a similar outlook/situation/personality as you do to associate yourself with. But as a generalization, when there is absolutely no one who agrees with you, hearing what they dislike and trying to change it is probably for the best. If your selection is so limited that you can't find anyone you consider worthwhile to befriend, then you're setting yourself up for failure.
