I haven't played much of Killing Floor, but I didn't really like it. Besides, Deth doesn't even have the game, why would he waste effort setting that server up?

You don't see the point. As the "owner" of the community, you would want to play on your gameserver(s) if you'd like to. Killing Floor would be one of the games he doesn't have (yet, if he ever decides to get it), it was basically the same case with ARMA3, but I believe ARMA3 had a higher demand.
