Overplayed maps removed

Post by TheScourge96 »

Because oh my God. I love some of these maps but no matter what people vote for them and they become so overplayed and annoying.

I really want all the overplayed maps to be removed from voting or rotation or whatever for a while so that we're forced to choose new maps.

I feel that it's a bit of an overreaction to remove them outright. I agree with the voting system we play a lot of the same maps now, but a lot of the overplayed maps are the best maps and removing them is a bit much.

I will have to say yus to this one because we do now just play same maps over and over again
and that a temporary remove system is a great idea.
not remove them permanently is what he is saying I think.

I've modified the config to do something with the mapvote.
Before, it didn't let people vote for a map if it was part of "recent maps". That is, if the map was played for the last 3 mapchanges. I've changed it to 5. So, that should compensate a little bit for it.

Thank you.

Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keels. Makes her a home."

Alex's idea is genius because old overplayed maps are the ones that you know in and out, so it would be an advantage towards new players.
